A few months before, during walks around the streets of the city, I picked and collected dry flowers, which, like a lot of elements I gather, quietly waited in a box until I find the very special jewels they were meant for.
The wait was over when I learned the topic of the exhibition. I created a brooch with the dry flower itself. Happily the brooch immediately found a buyer, so I knew I was on the right track.
In order to continue using this flower, I decided to cast it so I could use in metal and create a new collection. Each flower is now casted and highlighted with a pinch of silver. All the pieces are one of kind because made of unique casted flower I picked myself from the tree.
Below are some pictures of the trees, the flowers and some pieces of Jewelry.
